Birthday Gift - 5 Rules for Choosing That Work
Rule 1: The gift should say something about the recipient, not about you
The most common mistake when choosing: we buy what we would like to receive, instead of what he or she would like. A good rule: before ordering, think - what is the first thing the recipient would say if they described the gift to a friend? If the answer is "a very cool gift", you've achieved the minimum. If it's "look what [your name] got me" - you've hit the bullseye.
Rule 2: Personal always beats expensive
A wooden music box with an engraved message for 50 euros is remembered for 20 years. A pair of ordinary headphones for 150 euros is remembered until the first new model comes out. We're not saying expensive is bad - just that personalized lasts.
When there's a name, date, or quote that only the two of you understand - the gift is not just an object. It's a story told on material.
Rule 3: Age matters, but not as much as taste
A 30-year-old with a childlike spirit will enjoy a plush backpack with an embroidered name more than a serious 30-year-old manager. Before choosing by age, consider the person. Hobbies, colors in their wardrobe, what they watch in their free time - all this speaks more than their birth date.
Rule 4: Small details make the difference
Gift wrap. A small card. A photo of the moment they open it. These things aren't on the price tag, but they're what makes the gift an "experience," not a "package."

Rule 5: Send it on time (but not too early)
Ideally: the recipient opens the gift on the day of the occasion. For this, you need to factor in delivery - our gifts are ready in 1-3 days (engraved) or 3-6 days (embroidered), plus 1-2 days for delivery. For a birthday on May 15th, order no later than May 8th if we're embroidering something.
Too early is also not good - a gift left in the wardrobe for 3 weeks loses its energy. Try to give it no more than 24 hours after it arrives.
