The box works best with 8 or 16 photos (there are two upload fields on the page). You can technically upload fewer, but keep in mind: the fewer photos there are, the more often they will repeat and cycle through when spinning. For the coolest "cinematic" animation, we recommend filling all 16 slots.

Look, this is a mechanical frame for memories, and not a forearm exercise machine. If you decide to test how many revolutions per second it can withstand, you'll probably see your photos flying off in an unknown direction. Turn it smoothly and confidently - the idea is to look romantic, not like someone trying to start an old diesel engine.

Technically - no, unless you're looking for an excuse for another nervous breakdown. This isn't a tablet where you just "slide" the photo. Here, each frame is glued and centered by hand with a precision that would drive even the calmest Buddhist monk insane. This is analog torture, encased in wood, designed to work flawlessly while you simply turn the crank. Trust us, once you see how many curses and fine adjustments went into these photos, the last thing you'll want to do is open the box and play watchmaker with a bread knife in hand. Choose your best 16 shots right away, ones that won't annoy you for at least the next two years.

We are powerless here. We can engrave anything, but we can't buy you taste. Our advice: avoid internet quotes that even you don't understand. Write something personal, a date, or simply her name (spelled correctly!). The laser doesn't know what "autocorrect" is – if you get a letter wrong, the mistake stays there forever, just like your old tattoo.

If you don't want your flipbook to look like a pixelated mess from the 90s, follow these rules. We're good, but we're not magicians – if you send us trash, you'll get luxuriously packaged trash.

1. Stop with the screenshots: A photo of a photo from Instagram is visual suicide. It might look okay on your phone, but when printed, all you'll see are squares fighting for survival. Send originals. If you don't have them, find them.
2. Light, not "dark indie rock aesthetic": Photos from smoky bars or dark rooms look like black smudges with eyes on paper. Choose shots where you can actually see that you're people, not ghost silhouettes.
3. Don't turn the gift into a puzzle: Photos from 10 meters away with the whole family are a bad idea. A flipbook is compact. If you include 15 people in one shot, you'll end up seeing only colored dots instead of faces. Focus on what's important – your beautiful face and that of the victim (the recipient).
4. 8 or 16 photos - no more: Don't send us 25 with the text "choose the best ones." We have no idea who your ex is or who your grandma is, so take responsibility and choose them yourself. This is your story – arrange it so it doesn't look like a chaotic horror movie.
5. Center yourself, you egoist: The mechanism needs space. If your head is right in the corner, the laser might "trim" it. Put important things in the center – exactly where you usually try to squeeze in at every party.
